Unbelievably (to me, at least) my training period is coming to an end and I am due to be ordained Deacon by the Bishop of Oxford at Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford on Saturday 30 June.  The Cathedral service is at 10.00am (doors open at 9.00am) and I would love to see anyone from Prestwood and Great Hampden who is able to join me there (see separate notice).  Whether or not you can come to the Cathedral, you are all warmly invited to join me for a celebratory buffet in Holy Trinity Church from 2pm onwards.  If the weather is fine (we can always hope!), you might like to bring a folding chair to sit outside.  More details will follow nearer the time, but book the date now. May I take this opportunity to thank you all for the love, support and encouragement that both Irene & I have received during my training.   Nigel Spoor.
