Next Sunday 31st May is Pentecost. The liturgical colour for Pentecost is red. It symbolizes joy and the fire of the Holy Spirit. In normal time, clergy wear red vestments and we have other red fabric at the pulpit and over the tabernacle. In some places lay people of the congregation wearing red clothing in celebration as well and since we are in are unable to worship together in church we invite you to do wear red for Pentecost instead.
