The Friends of Holy Trinity was established in 2002 with the aim of raising funds to support and promote the work of Holy Trinity Church within the parish of Prestwood. The Friends aim to be the link between regular members of the church congregation, past members and all those within the parish who, while not wishing to be regular church-goers, nevertheless want to be identified with the church and support its well-being.

As stated in the Constitution, our aims are:
- to further the religious and other charitable work of Holy Trinity Church, Prestwood by assisting in the maintenance, improvement and beautification of the fabric and churchyard of the Parish Church and preserving it as a place of worship; and
- to further such other general charitable purposes as the Trustees may from time to time decide, through the provision of grants.
Regarding item 1 above, the Friends may choose to offer financial assistance for a particular Church project, or may respond to a specific request put to it from the PCC. In the latter case, the Trustees will decide whether or not they feel that the request falls into the intent of item (i) above.
Regarding item 2 above, this is seen as our outreach. The Friends will respond to requests for grants from individuals or organisations, and the Trustees will decide whether or not to provide support. The decision is based largely on the following:
- Is the person or organisation Parish based, or has strong Parish links?
- Is the profile of Holy Trinity Church being raised in a positive fashion?
- Will the recipient further help to raise the profile of the Friends and the Church?
Membership is open to all who wish to support the work of the parish church in its widest sense, for which the annual individual subscription is £12, or £20 for family membership which covers both parents and all their children under 18 years of age.
