Rector of Prestwood and Great Hampden

Deiniol has been Rector here since July 2008. He enjoys good lunches when he can get them, and then walking off his lunches with his badly behaved dog and/or children.
Assistant Curate
After over 40 years in the legal profession, Nigel felt the call to Christian ministry and was ordained in June 2018. He is married to Irene, has a grown-up son currently teaching in China, and loves music, theatre and travel, especially discovering new areas of our amazing world.

Kevin joined the clergy team after ordination in June 2019. Originally from the west country, for 25 years he ran a career in learning and outsourcing alongside work as a lay minister. Now living in Prestwood, he enjoys being able to cycle or walk to work. He also enjoys playing guitar and is thankful for tolerant neighbours.
Colin has lived in Prestwood for over 50 years and been a regular worshipper at Holy Trinity for over 40. Previously he has been a member and also secretary of the PCC.

Barbara moved to Prestwood in 2019, with her husband Dave, when she took early retirement. She is involved in several church activities and groups. Barbara enjoys walking and gardening, and looking after her grandchildren.
Family Support Worker

Fran has an extensive background in teaching and children’s work. She loves getting out into the beautiful Chilterns countryside, on foot or by bike, with her family. She can often be found getting crafty, baking, meeting friends or eating brunch!
Safeguarding Officer

Lesley is our Safeguarding Officer, and be contacted on any matter to do with safeguarding on the church. After a career in HR, she is enjoying retirement and hobbies, especially walking and walking football.
Children's Advocate

Jean is our Children's Advocate. She is a teacher. She isn't involved in the day-to-day children's work, and is someone whom children and young people know they could talk to about any problems, if they so wish.
Marketing and Lettings

Lesley is our Marketing Manager and looks after the marketing and hiring out of our church buildings. She lives in Little Kingshill and joined the team in 2017 after a career in marketing with John Lewis and Waitrose and a brief stint as a trainee chartered accountant. Lesley enjoys exploring the countryside with her family, interior design and spending time with friends and loves and hates running in equal measure.
Organist and Director of Music

A former organ scholar at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge, where he read music, Sam Laughton now juggles dual careers as a barrister and musician. He is musical director of The Elysian Singers, the Chiltern Camerata, the Trinity Camerata and the Craswall Consort. As a keyboard player he has worked with Oxford Philomusica, the Joyful Company of Singers, English National Opera and Garsington Opera.
