Holy Trinity Church provides dedicated teams to aid in the physical and spiritual well-being of the Parish community. Newcomers are welcomed to the various groups, to participate in outreach, prayer for others, or just reflective meditation.
A team of pastoral care visitors calls on those who are sick, either in their homes or in hospital, and may also make follow-up visits after bereavement. This team is available to anyone in our community, not just church members, as a way to serve all of our parish. For more information or to get involved please contact the Rector.
Transportation for the Elderly
We can provide lifts to bring elderly parishioners to any church service or event. If you would like to volunteer to be a driver or you want to arrange a lift to church please contact us. Volunteer drivers follow our Transport and Lifts Policy.
There is a group of people who hold before God those who have asked for our prayers. To do this we ask you to either contact one of the clergy or fill in a prayer card on the Prayer Tree in the church. On the first Tuesday of the month at 09.30am we hold those requests before God in our Holy Communion service.
If you know of someone for whom you would like us to pray, then please phone or email the Rector of if you prefer, use the Prayer Tree in the church to make any requests known to us. You can also light a candle in church as you pray at the Candle Tree. Jesus is the light of the world, and lighting a candle reminds us that his light shines in all the dark places of the world.
If you would like to join us you would be made most welcome.
There are a number of online resources to help you pray. Take a look at Learning to pray | The Church of England.
