A reflective and contemplative service of words and music. This service will use art and music as we walk the way of the cross.
A quiet, reflective service of Holy Communion which will include prayers for healing for yourself or for others. Anointing with oil and the laying on of hands will be offered to all who wish to receive.
This moving service recreates the drama of Holy Week as we walk in Jesus’ footsteps.
In this moving service we commemorate the Last Supper, strip the altars and, for those who wish to stay, keep watch for the Vigil. The Vigil ends with Compline at Midnight.
The Hampden String Quartet will perform this beautiful work by Joseph Haydn as the first hour of our Good Friday devotions.
We meet before the cross to commemorate Jesus’ great sacrifice, using the words of the Reproaches and the Veneration of the Cross in the ancient liturgy of the Church.
Bring your family to join us for a fun morning of Easter crafts and activities in the Church. We will also be building the Easter Garden in the churchyard and will end with a short, informal worship time together. Suitable for all the family; tots to teens! The Great Easter Celebration begins with the kindling of the Easter Fire, followed by the first mass of Easter. This service is followed by a Champagne Reception to celebrate Easter.
