COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS

Join us at the start of Advent!

Our Advent Carol Service takes place on Sunday 1st December, 6pm, in Holy Trinity.

On a journey from Darkness to Light, join us for a varied programme of choir music, hymns and readings to mark Advent: the season of watching and waiting for Jesus' arrival.

Please note that this service features traditional Advent Carols and music.

There will be no Christmas Carols sung at this service. 

Advent Craft & Praise | Saturday 7th December, 10am

Our Popular Craft & Praise events offer a fun event for the whole family. The event starts with 6 themed craft activities suitable for all ages and ends with a themed story as well as a few fun upbeat worship songs. The 7th of December is focused around Advent. Toddler Thursday and Bumps & Babies Christmas Praise | Thursday 12th and Monday 16th December

 

A special Toddler Thursday and Bumps & Babies during the normal session times. Gather around the Nativity scene in church and hear the Christmas story.

Holy Trinity Christmas Carol Service | Saturday 21st December, 4pm

Join us for a joyful evening of caroling and festive readings! Enjoy mince pies and mulled wine while sharing laughter with loved ones. Celebrate and create lasting memories together in the warmth of the season!

Parish Eucharist and Traditional Nativity | Sunday 22nd December, 9.30am

Traditional children’s Nativity play. Children can join in as sheep or stable animals on the day – just come in costume!

Great Hampden Christmas Carol Service | Sunday 22nd December, 6pm

Fine music and carols at the beautifully refurbished St Mary Magdalene, Great Hampden (HP16 9RD). Refreshments are provided after the service.

Calm Christingle | Christmas Eve, 11.15am

A special calm, Great Hampden, edition of the Christingle services held later that day in Prestwood.

During the Christmas season, we are reminded that Jesus is the Light of the World, a message beautifully represented by the Christingle. Join us for our enjoyable, family-friendly services to explore the meaning behind the different elements of a Christingle and create your own to take home.

 

Our services are always very popular and sell out quickly, so we encourage you to book early to secure your spot. Free tickets are required for the 3pm and 4.30pm Christingle services, while no tickets are required for the 6pm service. We look forward to welcoming you!
